Scrying Mirrors

Scrying, also referred to as "seeing" or "peeping," is a practice rooted in divination and fortune-telling. It involves gazing into a medium, hoping to receive significant messages or visions that could offer personal guidance, prophecy, revelation, or inspiration.

A scrying mirror (also called a black mirror) is a shiny black surface. Focus on a particular intention and stare into the mirror, vision from your related query might appear to you.

In the past, they were made by polishing metals or putting aluminum foil behind a piece of glass. Today, polished obsidian is much more popular.
